We have the largest child life specialist team in the Rocky Mountain region, and a special team dedicated to surgery. They use therapeutic toys and medical play to help patients and families navigate what's happening and what to expect. When a child or adolescent is scheduled for surgery, a child life specialist can help teach and prepare them and their family.
